I’ve been listening to this album (George Harrison – Let It Roll)everyday on my way to work this week. I like it a lot (thanks, SoozDog, a GREAT Father’s Day gift), and I want to hear a lot more of George. Next up is his All Things Must Pass.
I like the fact that I can discover more about this man and his former band, you know the one that I’m talking about. One of the troubles of getting to know and discover deceased / broken up bands, is that during your discovery, you know that it must end at some point, as you’ll eventually reach the end of their catalog. On the otherhand, the record companies are finding ever more creative ways to milk a few extra dollars out of the artists’ adoring fans (see posthumous realeases by Jimi, The Doors, Led Zeppelin to name just a few to which I’ve succumbed.)
